Twix: Try them both or pick a side Commerical

While I was browsing on YouTube today, I found this very interesting Twix commercial. This is one of those very few commercials that actually give you a story. The commercial told the story of the kinds of Twix bar companies which was Right Twix and Left Twix. The difference between the two companies was" Left Twix flowed caramel on to the cookie and Right Twix cascaded caramel on to cookie. " "Left Twix bathed in chocolate and Right Twix float in chocolate." The only thing that these Twix bar companies shared is their wrapper.

After I watched the commercial I kind of got a craving to eat a yummy Twix bar for myself, but unfortunately I don't have any Twix bars at my home. The commercial also says "try them both or pick a side" I thought that I would probably try them both just to compare the two bars. That is how this Twix bar commercial gets you to buy their commercial. They use the Need to satisfy curiosity because it makes you want to try both of the Twix bars to see what the difference is between these two bars because it satisfies your curiosity. This commercial also uses the technique of simple solutions because if you just try either Twix bar it will solve your curiosity of its taste.

I overall thought the story of the commercial was pretty interesting and I had now idea that Twix actually had two kinds of companies. The commercial was very entertaining and it had a good story of how a candy bar can have such a history behind it.

Swanson Chicken Broth AD

Today I was looking through one of my mother's Women's magazines which was a Thanksgiving theme one. I came upon one of the ads which was advertising the Swanson Chicken Broth. The ad was mainly advertising that the Swanson brand is the number one ingredient in soup broth. The product also says that it is 100% natural, 99% fat free, and it has no MSG. It is the most sensational chicken broth for soup.

This ad is really trying to get people to think that they are the number one broth for any kind of chicken based soup. The ad also advertising that it will not disappoint you because it is natural and it is almost fat free for people who want to lose weight. I have seen many chicken broths because my dad is very picky on which kind he uses, and I was thinking to myself is this brand really the best? Swanson is probably a good brand of chicken broth but is it truly the best?

This type of ad uses the tactics of weasel words and plain folks. The ad uses weasel words by putting words to make the product have a positive appeal to their viewers. They guarantee these words without any explanation to people who are viewing the product. The other tactic that this ad uses is called plain folks. Plain folks is used by showing that this product is good for people like you and me. It is for people who just need a good broth to make good soup. The ad also uses the basic appeal of physiological needs because it uses the appeal that you need this product for you eating needs. It can guarantee you great tasting soup.

This probably means that Swanson's target audience is people of the middle class because they know people just want a broth that will bring out the best in their cooking, while upper class people want high quality broth. The target audience is mostly people who love to cook and they would use the best broth to do it.

Trying to remember from my childhood, I remember that we did used to use the Swanson Chicken broth brand. Then, how come we stopped using it? I think my dad wanted a different kind of broth but I think the broth was maybe too salty for him. Swanson is probably not the best broth but it probably is a good quality that people can use. Overall, this ad uses two kinds of tactics that can be very effective to people who want to use the best brand in their cooking.

Kobe VS Messi Commercial

While I was browsing YouTube today I found this very funny but entertaining commercial about a Turkish Airlines company. This commercial shows the famous soccer player, Messi, and L.A. Lakers's Kobe Bryant who were competing to get a boy's ball signed with their autograph.  I enjoyed watching this commercial because it was really entertaining to watch these big sport stars do outrageous things so the boy can choose their autograph. However, it ended up being a draw because the boy went for the ice cream, instead of a autograph from a famous soccer or basketball player.

By watching the commercial, I think the airlines were trying to advertise how great it is to use their airline company because even celebrities use it. This commercial uses the tactic of "Testimonial" because it is using famous sport celebrities to promote the airline company. When using this tactic, the advertisers believe they will get more people to chose to use their airlines because these famous celebrities did. The commercial also uses the need for attention because the airlines want people recognize that this airlines is the best for people. This commercial mostly attracts the attention of the upper class because they might think if this celebrity uses this airline then we should as well. Overall, they are showing that this is the best airlines and you can't beat it!

I have seen other commercials and they also use the same tactics like this commercial does. For example, in this car commercial, Blake Griffin the basketball player advertises the car by using it to go back in time to his past self. They use his to show how appealing the car is because he is the one who is using it.

This commercial also uses ways to attract you because it has the celebrities do outrageous tactics that are very appealing. In my opinion, this commercial can be very entertaining but is it really effective? I think that this commercial can be effective when it comes to the upper class audience, but for people who are in the middle class we are not appealed to commercial as much because we need to save more money. The middle class people will probably only like watching the commercial and that's about it.

Overall, I like this commercial and how it was so entertaining to watch. The commercial uses many ways to appeal to it's target audience and it really shows the need for attention. Even though the commercial only appeals to certain group of people it was overall a good commercial.

Me and My Cello-Happy Together - The Piano Guys

I really love this song but most of all I really enjoy the actual video. The video is very entertaining in various ways, for starters, it shows a man and his cello doing all sorts of activities. I thought it was really fun how you can do things with an instrument that you never thought you could do. It's like your instrument is your best friend and your just hanging out and having quality time together.

When I was watching the video, I felt I would totally do things like that with my instrument because I play the violin and I also starting to play the cello. Instruments are really great because they become apart of you and your life that's why I enjoyed this video so much. I also really like this video because it has a lot of humor that is shown in the video as well.

First of all, I like the part when the guy and his cello go to an all you can eat buffet and when they walk out the cello suddenly turns into a Bass! I thought that was really hilarious the first time I watched this video. Also, the part when the guy and his cello are disco dancing. The cello has this humongous afro on its scroll which is way too big! The best part this video is that the guy and his cello go skydiving together in this video. I was so shocked and amazed at the same time. I really was afraid that the cello was going to fall of him or something worst could happen.

Not only is the video very entertaining, I also really like the music that is used in the video. The song matched perfectly with the video's theme because you're happy and together. I also really like how this guy plays the cello because it sounds so beautiful. That is probably the main reason why I wanted to play cello because the instrument's has such a wonderful sound.

Overall, I really love this video and I hope you all will enjoy it too. The Piano Guys who made this video also other creative videos that you should also check out as well. However, this one in particular is a favorite because it just has such a great theme that I really relate too.

Fair or NOT FAIR? Weight-loss Products

Today when I was looking at an issue of OK U.S.A. magazine I came upon a very peculiar ad. The ad was talking about a weight-loss product for women that will help lose weight. The ad says that it will help you lose 25 pounds in just 90 days and that there are six ways to help you lose weight fast.

The product is called Slimquick. I have seen other loss weight products but this ad in particular was actually very interesting. The ad says that a woman and her husband tried to lose weight by cutting down on how much junk food they were eating. The ending results shows that the wife only lost one size and her husband lost 6 sizes. They say that this was not fair because her husband lost more weight than she did. That's when the wife decides that she will use Slimquick which helped to lose weight fast because it is designed for women.

Basically, this ad is advertising that it much easier to loose weight by using their product that actually losing weight naturally. I never seen such a weight-loss product that  says you husband will definitely lose more weight than you ever will.  I thought the ad was kind of hilarious because it uses funny cartoon drawings to illustrate what they are trying to advertise. This ad using tactics by saying that losing weight is a lot harder  to do yourself and it much easier to use Slimquick because it's fast and it works in 6 ways. These ways are metabolism, appetite, energy, water, hormones, and stress.

I also came across another weight loss product in the same magazine, and this time it is a weight loss formula called Methoxyburn. It helps you more with energy and a increase in your metabolism to help you have more energy to lose weight and it is physician recommended. Compared to the other weight-loss product, Slimquick, Methoxyburn says that this product is the strongest weight loss formula. While comparing these two weight-loss products in my mind I've realized that these two products are advertised very differently. Another difference is that Slimquick advertises more about how it will help you lose weight faster, while Methoxyburn advertises for helping energy to help you lose weight. However, both of these products target obese women who have losing weight problems. Slimquick is a weight-loss product for women to lose weight faster, and Methoxyburn ad says their product helps with functions inside your body to help you lose weight faster. Furthermore, Slimquick uses more of a humor approach because it has cartoon drawings of a man and a woman who talks about their product, while Methoxyburn has more of a serious approach showing three real women and their opinions on the product.

I feel that Methoxyburn has a more natural approach because it only helps you with energy and your metabolism so you can lose weight and Slimquick says you can't lose weight fast enough unless you use their product. When you look both of these ads for weight-loss, you really wonder which one is the best for me because you can never be too sure. I also wonder can these kinds of products really help me and get the results that they guarantee? Or is it just as good to do the natural way of losing weight by exercising and eating a better diet? In my opinion, I feel you can never be too sure about these weight-loss products. I feel that it just easier to lose weight naturally because you don't want anything bad to happen to your body.

For example, these weight-loss programs do the "natural" way for losing weight. These weight loss foundations like the "Biggest Loser" or "Weight Watchers" are programs to help you lose weight instead of using a product to help you lose weight. The Biggest Loser uses extreme physical tactics to lose weight and Weight Watchers helps you to learn how to eat a healthier diet.

Overall, these two weight-loss products use very different advertisement approaches to their audiences, especially when trying to advertise their products. Also, different products may vary in what they really want to advertise and how they use that to make you want to buy it.
